Role purpose
This role sits within the International Business Support Function (IBSF) and will collaborate across the team with particular focus on pursuit-ready content and identifying best practices. The IBSF has a continuous improvement approach to supporting member firm client experience.
This role will report to the Pursuit Content Associate Director and support across IBSF to achieve our strategic execution agenda objectives through demand-led business development content. Your work will span across the end-to-end pursuit process (pre-pitch to proposal-ready content) through to member firm engagement, in line with the Grant Thornton network strategy.

* continued innovation to enable pursuit content to ‘cut through’
* project management and tracking
* collaboration with multiple varied stakeholders
* raising awareness and relationship building to drive adoption of content resources.
Main Responsibilities
Pursuit content
* Create and own internationally focused pursuit content material to support member firms in winning more international business – strategic positioning, pre-pitch, proposal and post pitch support
* Supporting member firms to showcase capabilities in identified global industries, service lines and geographies
* Enable client facing teams in our member firm to make the most of global content such as client conversation toolkits, win themes, talking points
* Further help our people have better business conversations with prospective and existing clients by working with IBSF colleagues and the global network to understand international business topics and emerging client issues, and to help firms tailor pursuit content to their market needs
* Support and innovate with member firms to respond to international BD opportunities through win messaging and global materials to demonstrate Grant Thornton’s qualifiers and differentiators
* Contribute to the team’s ongoing engagement with member firms to understand and prioritise the nature of pursuit content demand, demonstrating the value provided
Project management and tracking
* Lead on projects including development, expansion and maintenance of pursuit content library, intranet site and ProposalHub
* Project management: drive operational efficiencies, work flows, trackers, reporting, and use of technology to enable best practice
* Updating our credentials, insights, proof points and supporting assets, making them simple to access
* Ensure quality control of IBSF content and adherence to brand governance, visual identity guidelines and tone of voice
* Lead on tracking performance and use of IBSF content
* Gathering, analysis and reporting of feedback
* Update and continuously improve existing processes and ways of working
Collaboration, awareness and relationship building
* Help build the professional reputation of the IBSF as advisors to the global network, continuously raising awareness of our support through a variety of internal communications
* Frequent virtual interaction with our team, wider GTIL and our network of member firms to share information, persuade, influence and engage a range of audiences
* Build personal network with specialists from across Grant Thornton including marketing, business development and pursuits, communications, IBC community, Network Capabilities Team, service line teams and engagement partners
* Work collaboratively across the IBSF team on other projects as required to support our member firms’ international business growth
* Identify opportunities for IBSF to provide added value to the global network

Person Specification
* Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience, or holding a professional marketing qualification such as CIM
* Demonstrable experience in B2B business development, marketing or proposal content development role
* Fluent written and spoken English.
Experience - essential
* Good organisation and time management skills, manage multiple projects, strategic problem solving
* Strong relationship building skills, earning trust and forming / maintaining professional networks
* Strong writing and editing skills to create compelling and clear communications, capable of simplifying complex ideas
* Experience in a professional services, financial services or other B2B environment
* Experience working with fee earners, partners or other senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation
* Self-starter with the ability and confidence to develop and implement their own projects and workload
* Experience developing market / client-facing content such as pursuits, bid responses, website content, capability statements, business-to-business sales decks/tools
* Experience of understanding and responding to the heart of client needs, by determining meaningful features/benefits
* Quality checking of content
* Experience with Microsoft Office especially PPT, Word and Excel
* Curious mind and interest in international business context and research.
Experience - desirable
* Experience and ease working with technology systems (content/knowledge management systems)
* Experience of using Adobe packages
* Experience working with brand and digital teams either in house or externally
* Familiar with developing materials for adaptation to multiple languages.
