Customer Service Executive
* Contract Duration: 10 months FTC
* Salary Range: £23,600 - £25,300
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
* Location: Ipswich IP1
* Start date: 2nd January 2025
My client based in Ipswich is looking to appoint a Customer Service Executive on a 10-month FTC basis (Maternity cover). This company has been the leading organization in their industry for over 50 years and prides itself on great customer service skills.
This role involves delivering exceptional support to account managers, colleagues, and customers, contributing to the growth and retention of our customer base, and helping the business achieve its financial targets and goals.
What’s involved?
1. To answer inbound customer calls
2. Support with customer orders via email or telephone
3. Keep customers updated with their orders and make them aware of any delays
4. Process customer orders
5. Handle customer complaints
6. Process order amendments, PO numbers, etc.
7. Managing the online ordering systems, such as Click2Order and Email2Order
8. Managing customer accounts and creating and updating forecasts accordingly
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships
* Technical competence and understanding of internal ERP and online ordering integration systems
* Proactive, independent worker with the ability to also work effectively in a team
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Experience in customer service or a similar role is highly desirable
