What do you’ll do
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to join our facilities team in our Exeter office on a full time and permanent basis. The standard hours for this role are 08:45- 17:00. This is a varied role to provide support and gain experience within a busy law firm.
Working in our main reception area, you will be meeting and greeting internal and external clients, ensuring an excellent experience is provided. You will often be the first contact our clients have with the firm either in person or over the phone so customer service and giving the best impression of Ashfords LLP is important and a key part of this role.
A main responsibility is to set up meetings with our audio visual and online meeting equipment. The firms meeting requirements are recorded in our room booking software system and you will work alongside the IT team, ensuring these meetings are organised efficiently and in good time.
You will work closely with our receptionists in Exeter and will assist in covering the Switchboard for external calls into the firm.
Who you are
You'll be an enthusiastic, well-organised self-starter who enjoys working within a busy team, as well as independently; and will demonstrate an ability to respond to the needs of the business, acting professionally and ethically to protect the confidentiality of the firm and its people.
As a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a flair for building effective working relationships across all levels. You will have the ability to be responsive to the commercial needs of the business and use initiative to effectively manage workload; remaining calm under pressure.
