A leading regional contractor are seeking to employ on a permanent basis an Finance Assistant to join their growing finance department. Ideally, you will be based around the Southampton/ Dorset region.
About the role of a Finance Assistant
You will be joining a comprehensive and experienced Finance Team, who specialise within the Construction sector. Preferably you will have experience within the construction sector but not essential.
Responsibilities for a Finance Assistant
* Logging payments through banking systems
* Provide support to staff within the business and external clients.
* Prepare monthly reports for the board.
* Assisting with contracts
* Monitor Credit control.
Requirements for Finance Assistant
* Minimum qualification at A level Accountancy
* Preferably experience in a similar role
* Strong customer service skills both written and verbal.
* Willingness to learn & develop skill set.
* Proactive approach to workload
* An eye for detail
* Supportive and team player nature
