Sales Manager - Panel Builder
Your role and responsibilities:
Responsible for the sales of products/solutions within the UK low voltage panel builder sector (East Midlands), in line with the division strategy. Achieves both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Responsible to identify and develop new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: Hybrid with travel to customer and ABB sites. This role is contributing to the Electrification, Smart Buildings division in UK. Main stakeholders are Panel Builder Customers, Product Marketing, Project and Specification Team. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Sells products/solutions, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets.
2. Establishes and maintains customer relationships, promoting ABB's offering and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
3. Arranges product/technical training with Product Marketing Managers.
4. Ensures efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
5. Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
6. Manages administrative procedures in sales and supports cash collection and project management.
Qualifications for the role:
* Knowledge and experience in the low voltage panel builder sector with a proven track record in sales.
* Understanding of low voltage protection ACB/MCCB/MCB/Fuse switches, and low voltage switchgear (including motor protection and control).
* Full UK Driving License.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed budget and performance targets consistently.
* Expertly handled account management responsibilities, maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring their needs were consistently met, leading to high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly and provide technical sales support, offering tailored solutions and applications to meet customer needs.
* Developed and implemented effective go-to-market strategies, driving market penetration and increasing sales revenue.
