Position Summary
Wedding & Social Event Executive
The impact you’ll make
Are you passionate about making our couples' wedding day perfect? Do you have experience in proactive selling and wedding event planning?
We would love to talk to you about the role here at Tudor Park! Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and that’s where you would come in to help our couples organise their perfect day, and be with them every step of the way!
What You'll Do
1. Meet with couples to discuss their wedding vision, budget, timeline and any requirements.
2. Coordinate with vendors such as florists, photographers, and caterers - negotiating contracts.
3. Be the contact all the way from the planning to the wedding day – always on hand to help with everything.
4. Manage the wedding budget and recommend suppliers to help.
5. Manage the entire operation during an event day, and be comfortable in making decisions when needed.
6. Be the face of the event on the day, dealing with guest queries all the way from enquiry to the day of the wedding/event.
7. Respond to all telephone calls and emails promptly and accurately, taking the necessary action.
8. Help us secure show-arounds and site inspections, showcasing our venue.
9. Help organise wedding fayres and open days and liaise with the team.
10. Attend Functions meetings with operational teams on a weekly basis.
11. Discuss and recommend menu options and wish list items to the clients.
12. Help us to promote weddings on social media channels with photos, videos and reels and wedding planning tips.
13. Handle, as well as weddings, social events which would be parties, anniversaries and celebration events.
Key Skills
1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
2. Excellent telephone manner and overall communication skills.
3. Strong multi-tasking ability and time management skills.
4. An ability to communicate with and understand the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.
5. Sales experience and upselling skills.
6. An ability to use your initiative when faced with customer worries & concerns and create a workable solution.
7. A positive, friendly ‘Can Do’ attitude.
8. To be able to remain calm under pressure.
9. An eye for detail.
10. Good industry knowledge and market knowledge.
Desirable Attributes
1. Previous experience in events.
2. Passion for the hospitality industry.
3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment & remain calm under pressure.
4. Experience in negotiation and both proactive and reactive selling.
5. Opera knowledge.
6. Problem solving/decision making.

With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days, predominately Monday – Friday day shifts although there may be the need to cover weekends or evenings for show rounds or to welcome your Clients for their event, after all you wouldn’t miss out seeing the smile on their face after all of your planning.
