We are looking for an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer to join our existing team in Leeds.
A little more about your role…
1. The production of professional and technically competent reports and liaison with specialists and clients.
2. Preparing ground models and design parameters.
3. Analysis of slopes, walls, foundations, and other geotechnical structures.
4. Providing support in all aspects of project delivery including client liaison and co-ordinating with colleagues from other disciplines.
5. Contributing to the implementation of higher sustainability and better use of 3D data in our project delivery.
6. Site based work supervising ground investigation and construction for some of the UK’s most transformative projects across many different sectors.
7. Using our newly developed geotechnical training framework in the development of both yourself and your colleagues at all grades.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
1. A fundamental appreciation of ground risk and site investigation.
2. A good grasp of basic soil mechanics and engineering principles.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to generate high quality reports and design deliverables.
4. Ambition to progress towards chartered status.
