Full time Monday to Friday 9-5, with some flexibility in hours, and may be asked to work an occasional additional day.
The responsibilities of the role include:
1. Completing ongoing assessments for young people in crisis on the ward or in the community.
2. Completing all assessment paperwork, contacting agencies, and making appropriate referrals.
3. Conducting risk assessments and developing safety and care plans.
4. Collaborating with partner agencies such as children's services and safeguarding.
5. Providing ongoing support work for young people in crisis, referring as appropriate, and reviewing upon return to services.
6. Engaging in sessional work with young people on an ongoing basis as directed.
7. Managing risk, complexity, and priorities.
8. Managing a caseload and escalating any matters of concern or uncertainty.
9. Working in a team and providing support to team members.
