Three day Nanny role in Basingstoke, RG21
This family is looking for a Nanny for their 19-month-old little girl. The hours are 8am to 6pm Wednesday to Friday (30 hours over 3 days). Mum is busy working from home; this is a sole charge position. She is due to have a baby in April next year, and the nanny will continue in sole charge of their daughter with some occasional ad hoc care of the baby too. After maternity leave, the nanny will be in sole charge of both children.
Duties include:
1. Arranging fun days out, playdates, attending music classes, and toddler groups.
2. All usual nursery duties such as children’s laundry, keeping children’s areas tidy, toy and wardrobe organization, etc.
3. Preparing and cooking healthy meals for the whole family.
The little girl is very social and active. The perfect nanny would be organized and could use their initiative to plan a variety of activities each day, whether it be exploring outside with park trips and woodland walks or setting up engaging activities at home such as messy play, role play, music, and crafts based on the different seasons or occasions.
The family is looking for a reliable, calm, and nurturing Nanny who is routine-based and will set clear boundaries. Someone with a clear passion for childcare, who is either qualified or experienced with knowledge of the EYFS to create age-appropriate activities to encourage their daughter's developmental milestones.
