At Runwood Homes, we are proud of our reputation as a leading care home operator, providing compassionate, person-centred care to older people, including those living with dementia.
It takes a truly special person, with inspirational passion and a kind nature, to make a real difference to the lives of others. Our skilled and motivated teams are dedicated to ensuring that an excellent residential care service is continuously provided.
Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own rich life histories and stories. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to give your time and attention to them.
As a Care Team Leader with Runwood Homes, professionalism, kindness, and compassion will be at the core of everything you do. Your role will involve planning and implementing care that gives residents a sense of security, dignity, and independence.
You will get to know our residents and their families, helping to ensure that personalized care is delivered.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will influence the team positively and be responsible for maintaining high standards of care. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and effective communication with colleagues.
You will also assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, providing physical and mental care, administering medication, and conducting medication audits.
Ideally, you will have an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, experience in person-centred care planning, and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. Leadership experience in care is desirable. What is essential is a positive energy, ability to get along with others, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management. Additionally, your communication should be considerate and kind.
Experience / Qualification:
* Experience preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred or willingness to achieve it.
* Comprehensive induction and ongoing paid training to develop your career.
