The Brownhill Learning Community is a federation of Brownhill Special School and the Pupil Referral Service who work together to provide education provision for school aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs who are out of the mainstream environment. There are four sites across Rochdale and pupils are placed according to their needs. The post holder must be prepared to work on any of the 4 sites across the borough. The funding streams for the Federation of Brownhill are quite complex and requires a highly competent finance person to oversee and to advise the Headteacher and the Governing Board regarding all aspects of finance, monitoring and budgeting. There is already supporting posts at BLC who oversee all aspects of HR and Health and Safety. The successful candidate will be required to concentrate effectively on all aspects of finance and budgeting. The successful candidates will be required to commence in post in as soon as possible.
