Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated person with experience and expertise in developing and maintaining online learning platforms and websites to join our team. Our Training Centre was established in 2000, and in partnership with the University of Manchester, we are currently delivering more than 20 distinct programmes/pathways in evidence-based Psychological Therapies, mostly at Postgraduate level. We employ over 80 staff and train in excess of 400 students per year. We are in the process of having a Learning Platform and associated website built for ourselves and our students, and we need someone with excellent communication skills to support our team in its development and use. This will involve close liaison with our team and with the company building the site, especially in the early stages, as well as liaison with the GMMH IM&T Service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
* Work closely with the programme delivery teams (both programme tutors and administrators) and be a source of first line support in managing, monitoring and maintaining the centre's Learning Platform, to ensure that it is fit for purpose and meets organisational needs.
* Provide timely technical and practical support and solutions.
* Work closely with a range of internal and external teams, partners, and stakeholders to effectively manage data in accordance with GDPR and Trust Standard Operating Procedures, reporting and responding to audit requests as required.
* Be responsible for supporting the development of and maintaining high-quality digital learning resources, including supporting the creation of multimedia and AV content.
* Work with internal and external teams, partners, and stakeholders to maintain and administer technical and hosting infrastructure.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Pay Enhancements – 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
* 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years.

Person specification
Education
* Educated to GCSE standard, including English Language and Mathematics Grade C or Grade 4 and above, or Numeracy and Literacy Level 2.
* NVQ Level 3, BTEC Level 3, A-Level(s) or T-Level(s) or equivalent in an appropriate subject.
* Relevant professional qualification or training.
Experience
* Experience of developing and maintaining online resources/tools.
* Experience in managing and reporting on a range of data.
* Experience in providing first line support to a range of key personnel.
* Experience in supporting the development of online/distance learning.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of the maintenance and administration of Learning Platforms such as Totara, Moodle, and Blackboard.
* Working knowledge of WordPress.
* Understanding of CSV files and Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of SCORM files.
Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and able to foster effective working relationships, internally and externally.
* Ability to explain complex processes/procedures to others.
* Skills in creating and maintaining course areas.
* Skills in creating multimedia/AV content.
