Role: Lead Electrical Engineer
Location: Portsmouth
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £500/day

Role Purpose:
To provide delivery support to the SIF Facilities, including both planned and reactive maintenance activities and installation projects.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Carry out Electrical Design for Electrical installations involving a variety of voltages and frequencies supporting the production of Installation Guidance packages.
2. Sign off on Electrical Certification on Electroform.
3. First line assurance of Maintenance and Electrical Project sign off.
4. Signatory on Installation Guidance Packages (IGP) and Capability Acceptance Forms (CAF).
5. Manage and Lead installations and maintenance activities from an electrical technical perspective.
6. Attend project and facility meetings to support the site in electrical delivery.
7. Ensure the electrical maintenance SharePoint site is maintained and own the configuration control of the maintenance forms.
8. Work with the Facility team and Scheduler to de-conflict and plan in Maintenance activities.
9. Ensure that a competency based matrix to keep the team current and up to date and develop team members where required.

Experience & Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on electrical experience.
2. Recognised NVQ 3 in Electrical installation, e.g. C&G 2365, 2382 or 2357.
3. 18th Edition qualified (BS7671).
