Our client are specialists in their industry sector they are looking to recruit a on a Production Operations Administrator permanent basis.
The Job you'll do
1. We are looking for a Production Operations Administrator who can undertake this multi-functional role which will include general administrative responsibilities and anything associated with production / operational activities to meet production / business requirements.
2. This will include supporting the design, development and coordination of all operational training documentation and programmes in line with company requirement and standard.
3. Support with purchasing activities and supplier communication.
4. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and updating our skills and training (ILUO) matrix.
5. Participate in office meetings and taking meeting minutes.
6. Participate in lean six sigma and continuous improvement projects.
7. Use data sources to identify continuous improvement opportunities in manufacturing / production processes.
8. Ensure new engineering orders (NEO's) and engineering change orders (ECO's) are completed in a timely manner.
9. Ensure routings, product structures, set / run times, and unit lengths etc. are constantly updated where required.
10. Make sure alternative routings are available for to cover press options where applicable.
11. Ensure all costs are maintained and accurate.
12. Support costing enquiries, working closely with the technical department.
13. To carry out any other responsibilities not listed above as may reasonably be expected.
About You
1. We are looking for someone with experience in a busy lean manufacturing/production environment.
2. Excellent IT skills and proactively showing initiative is essential.
3. Previous experience of any technical or operational responsibilities would be advantageous.
4. If you are highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure, with good attention to detail and able to communicate efficiently whilst working within a team but also independently, we would love to hear from you!
