The role will become Whole Year as the school grows Salary: Grade 5 - £25,183 – £26,409 per annum pro rata Actual Salary: £21,757 - £22,816 per annum John Taylor MAT is looking for an experienced, flexible and adaptable professional to join its newest, and only ‘all-through’ school in our Trust family. Built from the ground up, Rugeley John Taylor will serve local communities, offering a ‘gold standard’ learning experience to the youngest learners all the way through to sixth formers. We have an opportunity to join this brand-new school, opening initially with Year 7 in the secondary phase in September 2025, in a role combining support for attendance with responsibility for data records in the school. This role requires someone who is well organised and can co-ordinate processes. You will ensure the accurate recording and maintenance of all pupil data, produce reports and liaise with senior colleagues in the production of the school timetable. Supporting pupils and their families, you will contribute to the development and implementation of a range of actions and provisions to promote high levels of attendance. You could be ideal for this role if you have: Experience in a similar role and can demonstrate an ability to process, understand and interpret data Ability to co-ordinate work processes and bring together information from various sources Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders Planning and organisational skills with an understanding of prioritisation and being able to flexible to meet demands Understanding of the barriers to attendance in school and how this role can respond to those A willingness to go the extra mile as the school and staff team evolves You will play a key role in the evolution of this new school.
