You will be responsible for the end-to-end plan of key projects within Pharmacy and Central Operations. You will drive the implementation of mobile office, as well as exploring technology to simplify our stores operations platform, through the use of ESEL and RFID. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will create, drive, and implement strategic business plans, with the ability to problem solve and implement solutions, while adopting a continuous improvement mindset. You will lead both field and Nottingham based teams, reporting directly into the Director of Retail Operations and Loss. Key responsibilities of the role will include: You will lead a team, responsible for engaging, implementing and driving new projects into stores, across both Pharmacy and Retail, supporting the end-to-end process from idea to implementation. You will liaise with multiple stakeholders, both in and outside of the function, actively collaborating across the business, in order to share best practice. You will identify, create, and develop solutions to enable greater departmental and business efficiency, while adhering, contributing, and delivering against the Boots operating plan. Develop, plan, and deliver the 3-year operations plan and beyond, including driving efficiency, while making it simpler for our store’s estate in the business. What you’ll need to have Strong commercial and people acumen, with excellent knowledge and understanding of both retail and pharmacy processes. Able to work at pace in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Must have experience of creating and leading large complex plans involving multiple teams/functions with a future thinking focus. Excellent track record in stakeholder management with ability to impact and influence senior-level individuals. Ability to show resilience and competence in leading through change, with the ability to confidently challenge where necessary. A confident communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement throughout the business.
