Your new company
In your new role as a quantity surveying assistant, you will be joining a large organisation in the Elgin area. In this role you can work on a hybrid basis, with at least 2 days working in the office with the team. This role is an initial 6-month contract with a likely extension, which may create the opportunity to join the organisation on a permanent basis. This is a full-time contract, with 37 hours per week working across Monday to Friday.
Your new role
In your new role you will have key responsibilities in the commercial department, which contributes to the overall success of the wider team and projects they are working on. The Quantity Surveying Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the development of a high-quality, efficient, and effective Quantity Surveying Service within the department. Working closely with the Quantity Surveying Manager, the assistant ensures that all tasks are carried out in line with the agreed priorities, particularly concerning building maintenance contracts. Key responsibilities include assisting in the administration of Quantity Surveying tasks as delegated to you, managing the cost aspects of projects from start to finish, and providing timely and accurate information to the wider team and the Quantity Surveying Manager.
