Role:
This role is responsible for the accurate recording and processing of financial information within the ERP system and supporting the Management Accountant with the day to day responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete all mandatory training.
2. Processing of bank payments to the online system as and when required.
3. Recording bank transactions in the ERP system, and undertaking regular bank reconciliations.
4. Manage private mileage reclaim for drivers with fuel cards.
5. Preparation and posting of monthly journals.
6. Support the preparation of VAT returns.
7. Completion of ONS requests.
8. Manage the vehicle fleet, tracking drivers to cars and gathering monthly mileage information from drivers.
9. Support the intercompany recharge process, providing Accounts Receivable with the documentation required to raise invoices.
10. Monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances and completion of intercompany schedules for Group reporting.
11. Support the provision of information to external auditors.
12. Provision of information, reports and detail as and when required.
Requirements:
1. C grade in Maths and English Language GCSE or Equivalent.
2. AAT L4 or QBE would be desirable.
3. Previous experience working in Purchase Ledger environment is essential for the role.
4. Previous experience working in Finance environment is essential for the role.
5. Experience in a manufacturing environment would be desirable.
