Purpose of the Role
You will contribute to delivering various full-time programmes developed in partnership with renowned institutions such as Canterbury Christ Church University, Bath Spa University, and St Mary's University Twickenham London.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of programmes within a higher education setting.
* Provide tailored support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
* Participate actively in course development and improvement, including taking on module leadership roles across different cycles for progression to Band B.
* Develop module/unit schemes of work.
* Mark assessments in accordance with assignment briefs and criteria.
* Implement strategies to understand and support students' learning needs.
* Provide timely formative and summative feedback.
* Ensure compliance with programme guidelines and produce module reports.
* Communicate effectively with students and staff.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
* PhD or working towards one.
* Teaching qualifications such as PGCHE and Fellowship of the Advance HE.
* Minimum of 2 years of higher education teaching experience (Band A) and at least 2 years for progression (Band B).
* Proficiency in Blackboard/VLEs, MS Teams, and Zoom.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development, including a minimum of 100 hours of CPD focused on teaching and curriculum development.
* Ability to share best practices in teaching and research.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Industry experience in relevant fields.
* Research publications in the relevant discipline.
