Strategic Communications Lead - Crop Science

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that align to our organisations Ambition strategy, business objectives and goals.
2. Utilising your strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive sales through strategic communications, you will oversee the development of impactful campaigns and execution through channel strategies.
3. Effectively managing agencies, including the management of contracts, terms and conditions, all while ensuring the agencies are clear on our strategic approach and have the ability to execute in the most efficient and impactful way.
4. Oversee our marketing technology platforms, ensuring we have a clear strategic approach; experience of SEO, Salesforce and Marketo tools are advantageous.
5. Website management, ensuring the website is in line with our brand and effectively communicates key information to the market.
6. Ensure our strategic alignment with European communications strategies and initiatives.
7. Budget management, ensuring optimal allocation and utilisation of resources to maximise ROI.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the needs of our customers and ensure customer centricity.
9. Support with internal communications strategies to keep the internal audience engaged and connected to business activities, and to support achievement of our overarching strategy.
10. Establish metrics and KPI's to evaluate effectiveness of communications initiatives.
11. Undertake regular retrospectives, reviewing campaigns and striving for continuous improvements.
Who you are:
1. Solid relevant experience in a communications role.
2. University Degree Level Qualification in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
3. Proven experience in agency management and executing successful campaigns.
4. Agricultural knowledge preferred, but not essential; training can be provided.
5. Experience in budget management and optimization to ensure cost-effective communication strategies that deliver ROI.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data/information into strategy.
7. Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Ability to motivate, engage and inspire others to deliver against strategic objectives.
9. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
