Description Day in the life of As a Repair Technician for our calibration products you will perform repairs and modifications on customers' reference equipment to component level, support the calibration laboratory and ensure maintenance and corrective actions are carried out. You will work with other teams to achieve KPI’s and objectives. Follow and support the ISO 17025 Quality Standard. Responsibilities The role is responsible for customer care through technical service, inspection, calibration, and contributing to the service revenue. You are responsible for managing incoming and outgoing service requests covering the calibration, inspection, and repair of Precision Measurement equipment as well as developing service growth, with a proactive approach to customers. In this role a technical affinity is essential, however, we can develop your (technical) calibrating skills to progress within the role. Technical capabilities Fully inspect and test instruments returned from customers and end users. Repair units often to component level using hand soldering and rework equipment. Correctly and accurately calibrate the units. Effectively resolve application and technical questions for Fluke Reliability customers. Maintain stores and inventory levels. Assist in organizing and maintaining the workshop according to health & safety regulations and ensure that all processes carried out are in accordance with our QA and ISO 9001. Help drive continuous improvement within the department and Health & Safety procedures Commercial Own customer satisfaction and ensure we deliver excellence in customer service. Analyze and manage productivity, make recommendations, and process improvements. Answer customers' technical questions. Your Team In this role you will work closely within the UK and mainland Europe supporting in continually improving our customer satisfaction. Experience Minimum of 2 years work experience in electronics repair, familiarity with calibration equipment preferred HNC / HND in Electrical Electronics Capable of interpreting documents (schematics/drawings) and standard work instructions. Strong PC skills. Be fully conversant with MS Office packages with working knowledge of Excel.
