With Academic Registry, the Placements Team are responsible for delivering a wide range of accredited Work Placement modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. These modules are designed to enable students to develop their employability skills, enhance professional practice, and build an understanding of the workplace while gaining practical experience.
We are looking to recruit a student-focused and efficient Student Administration (Placement) Officer to play an integral role in the delivery of student placements for Workplace Learning and other placement modules offered across a range of courses. Candidates should be able to support students in securing and arranging their placements, providing tailored support to help them achieve successful outcomes. They will need to demonstrate excellent relationship management skills and maintain constant communication with a variety of stakeholders, particularly students, lecturers, and placement providers, while prioritizing a high volume of work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Above all, we are seeking a real team player with experience in providing support and the ability to adapt quickly and perform well in various aspects of the role. Candidates will need to have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning.
