We arelooking to recruit a dynamic, forward thinking, skilledPhysiotherapist to join our Physiotherapyteam at West Midlands Hospital in Halesowen. We also providea musculoskeletal physiotherapy service at Stourside Hospital inStourbridge where you will be expected to work 1-2 times a week.
Thisrole would suit a junior physiotherapist with current skills andexperience in Orthopaedics and MSK Physiotherapy. We hope toattract an individual with at least 1 years experience.
Therapists havea dual role at West Midlands Hospital where you would be basedpredominantly in the outpatient service however flexibility isrequired to work on the Orthopaedic inpatient ward as servicedemand requires.

Yourduties willinclude:
* Deliveringhigh quality physiotherapy care in a hospital setting; includingthe assessment, treatment, planning and development ofphysiotherapy treatment programmes, progressing and regressingtreatment using own clinical knowledge andjustification
* Usesound rationale to solve problems and treat, sometimes moderatelycomplex, patients within scope of practice without overcomplicatingmatters
* Soundability to use dynamic risk assessment and manual handling skillsto ensure patient and environmental safety during treatmentplans
* Providingpatient education and advice at all stages throughout the patientjourney.
* Manageyour own case load in inpatients/outpatients as applicable, timemanagement skills, input sessional charges via computer, bookpatient appointments and fully utilise own computerdiary.
* Toact in a professional manner at all times respecting privacy,dignity andconfidentiality
* Highregard and implementation of health and safety procedures regardingpatients, colleagues and the environment at all times, includinginfection controlprocedures
* Excellentcommunication, customer care and customer service skills.
* Acommitment to CPD, mandatory training ande-learning
* Agood standard of IT literacy and willingness learn new informationtechnology asrequired
* Anactive involvement in the day to day running of the department
* Workingeffectively and independently as part of the Physiotherapy team andthe wider multi-disciplinaryteam

* Relevant degreein Physiotherapy with relevant MSKexperience
* Experience onworking an inpatientward
* Current HCPCRegistration
* Current memberof the Chartered Society ofPhysiotherapy
* Ability toundertake a full Clinical caseload of MSK outpatients includingdirect referrals and post-op patients with a wide variety ofconditions
* Computer literateand able to use MicrosoftOffice
* Proficient in runningrelevant post op and other classes required by your linemanager
