As the Consultant in Public Health, you will provide expert advice and leadership on a range of public health issues reporting to the Director of Public Health. About your role as a Consultant in Public Health Providing strategic and system leadership while supporting and advising the local system to drive improvements in outcomes, prevention of ill health, promotion of good health and reductions in health inequalities Providing expert public health advice and leadership to support and inform an evidence-based approach within ethical frameworks Taking the lead role on behalf of the authority in developing inter-agency and interdisciplinary short and long-term strategic plans for securing health improvement Leading on public health research in specific topic areas, and commission research audits/projects, and/or undertake research or audit and translate research findings into public health practice Responsibility for development, implementation and delivery of local policies, Developing and evaluating inter-agency and interdisciplinary strategic plans and programmes to improve public health and well being in the county About you as a Consultant in Public Health Registered via GMC Register/GDC Specialist List or UK Public Health Register Proven track record of delivering on projects in previous roles Previous experience of public health protection and intelligence Ability to build and strengthen current/existing relationships with wider teams If you are interested in the Consultant in Public Health role, please send your most up to date CV to Terry Lee t.leebaltimoreconsultingltd.com or call 0117 313 7110.
