Who we are Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is a leading global supplier of polymer-based critical sealing solutions and components for general industry, automotive, and aerospace. We are one of three Business Areas within the Trelleborg Group and have about 6,000 employees worldwide. The Customer Service Coordinator will join the Race-Tec Sealing Operations team, which includes manufacturing. Their primary responsibility is to process customer orders throughout the business. They will interact directly with both internal and external customers, handling inquiries, quotations, and purchase orders and providing updates. Additionally, they will be part of the production planning team. Clear communication is crucial, as they will collaborate closely daily with the purchasing, product design, and production teams to meet customer needs. Tasks and Responsibilities Process and respond to customer enquiries, RFQs, purchase orders, and other correspondence. Occasionally address minor technical questions from customers. Discuss and schedule customer orders daily with the Supervisor and planning team, providing timely feedback and updates. Support and maintain customer relationships, promoting a positive company image. Liaise with various departments within Race-Tec Sealing and other Trelleborg Sealing Solutions sites to meet customer needs (e.g., Technical, Production, Quality). Follow up on quotations with customers as needed. Collaborate closely with the Purchasing & Planning Administrator to ensure cross-functionality. Assist in developing and introducing new processes and procedures in line with continuous improvement. Perform general office responsibilities as required. The Ideal Candidate Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent). At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar customer service role. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with good autonomy and problem-solving skills. Agile, adaptable, and responsive in a fast-paced environment. Interest in motorsport and engineering or a technical perspective is welcomed This position is based on-site at Bridgwater.
