The successful candidate will be a critical member of the senior leadership team of the programme and support the full time SRO in the successful delivery of the Programme objectives and scope, for its adherence to its strategic approach and for the delivery of agreed outcomes. The Programme Director will provide oversight, leadership to and assurance over the programme, from the overall strategy to the end-to-end delivery of new workplaces, including ways of working. This role forms part of the broader Change community within DWP, working alongside other senior leaders, Programme Directors and SROs to help drive DWP forward over the coming years. The Programme Director will work with project delivery leads in the programme to provide coaching, development, and support to help them deliver the programme outcomes overall. Person specification The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their knowledge, experience and skills against the following essential criteria: A proven track record in all aspects of major change or transformation delivery, including experience of managing a majorchange or transformation programme Demonstrable experience of programming benefitsrealisation as an integral element of scheduled delivery plans across multiple projects.
