Description
As an Implementation Consultant at Davies Technology Solutions (DTS), you will play a crucial role in the technical delivery of client solutions. You will customise and configure solutions, author technical documentation, and provide support to clients, ensuring high-quality implementation and client satisfaction. Your role involves collaborating with the broader team to enhance development processes, maintain quality, and mitigate project risks. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a positive team culture and support clients in their use of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Customisation and Configuration: Develop solutions by customising and configuring the product set to meet client requirements.
* Technical Delivery: Take responsibility for the technical delivery of key components within larger client solutions, as well as small end-to-end client solutions.
* Technical Documentation: Author high-quality technical documentation that supports downstream activities, ensuring clear and comprehensive guidance.
* Client Support: Collaborate with the wider team to provide timely support and assistance to existing clients using Worksmart solutions.
* Process Enhancement: Continually review and enhance development processes and procedures, with a focus on quality and a "do it once, do it right" approach.
* Project Support: Assist the project team in delivering high-quality client solutions, working in coordination with other team members.
* Progress Monitoring: Assess and communicate assigned activity progress based on 'Earned Value' principles, ensuring project milestones are met.
* Risk Management: Identify and escalate potential project risks and issues early in the project life cycle to mitigate any disruptions.
* Quality Adherence: Ensure adherence to quality processes and procedures throughout the implementation process.
* Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and the broader implementation team to design and estimate technical solutions that align with client needs.
* Client Workshops: Undertake, contribute to, and analyse the output of client workshops to gather high-quality technical and business requirements.
* Client Training: Provide training on products to small, 'focused' client audiences to maximise their understanding and utilisation of the solution.
* Team Culture: Support and contribute to a positive team working culture within projects, fostering collaboration and productivity.
* Administrative Tasks: Undertake necessary administrative tasks as part of day-to-day activities to ensure smooth project operations.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Technical Competence: Possessing a strong working knowledge of key technical tools and languages such as SSRS Reporting, SQL, JSON, and JavaScript, enabling effective client communication about their technical needs.
* Client-Centric API Integration: Utilising API Calls to facilitate smooth data exchange between systems, ensuring that client requirements are at the forefront of solution design.
* Technical Environment Customisation: Having a keen awareness of software installation and technical environment creation.
* Proactive and Self-Guided Approach: An aptitude for working with minimal guidance and the initiative to ensure client objectives are met promptly and effectively.
* Professionalism at the Forefront: Maintain a high level of professionalism and organisational skills in client interactions, ensuring clients experience reliability and trust in our partnership.
* Deadline-Oriented Client Service: Meet deadlines and deliver outcomes that surpass client expectations.

* Client On-Site Availability: Willingness to travel to client sites as required with commitment to offering on-site support and cultivating in-person client relationships.
