Relief Support Workers - Forfar
£12 per hour - 25/26 Pay Award Pending
Support workers are at the heart of the service Ark provides, supporting people to engage with the lively community of Forfar, making the most of activities from sports and art to music and dancing. Our two services in Forfar support a wide age range, from early twenties to late seventies. Most residents live in sheltered accommodation with their own flats, communal gardens, and lounge areas, and value their independence. We also offer outreach services for individuals with various health conditions and learning disabilities.
Supported people enjoy participating in group activities, learning, and are involved in speak-out and voices groups. They love planning events and raising money for charities, often involving themselves in staff recruitment processes. Our dedicated staff teams provide caring, person-centered care, with supported individuals expressing a desire for staff who are reliable, caring, and dedicated to helping them live independently and happily.
There are excellent opportunities to develop your skills in care due to the diverse support needs within our services.
If you are enthusiastic about supporting people to live their best lives, apply now to join our team!
