Blue Sky Fostering is looking for a Marketing Manager, based in the Romsey office, while providing marketing support across all six office hubs. You’ll have previous experience in running multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate new enquiries and take a customer-centric approach.
You’ll also be a natural collaborator, with a passion to deliver, oh and of course have a good sense of humour. While you don’t need to have experience within the foster care sector, experience within social care and/or a strong affiliation for the work we do will be an advantage.
This role is part of the BSN Central Marketing Team and is based within Blue Sky Fostering. We are looking for a Marketing Manager who is passionate about bringing brands to life through storytelling, outreach events and local community partnerships and sponsorships. This is a new role, joining the team at an exciting time as we prepare the business for growth.
Founded in 2005, Blue Sky Fostering has grown from a modest office in Hampshire to one of the south of England’s leading independent fostering agencies, providing localised support from Kent to Cornwall and up to the Cotswolds and rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted five consecutive times since the very beginning.
As Marketing Manager, you will:
* Work across the full marketing mix, taking the proactive lead for content production – online and offline, production of carer facing materials, local community engagement via events, partnerships or sponsorships, creation of advertising content for all channels including website, social media channels and carer newsletter comms.
* Take a leading role in the creation of content for various departments, audiences, and channels. Including copywriting, as well as working with internal and external teams to develop marketing collateral which includes video.
* Planning and delivering successful campaigns across both enquirer carer and existing carer segments; you’ll be hands-on across the campaign process; from creation to optimisation to ensure we achieve our collective objectives.
* To identify and capture carer, colleague, and child-centred stories, developing written and video content which can be used across multiple channels.
* Developing editorial governance so content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone. Ensuring all content used across website, marketing materials and social media channels represents the Blue Sky Fostering brand appropriately.
* Building strong cross-functional internal and external relationships – strong relationships with consistent communications.
* Manage local marketing budget, tracking return on investment and channel performance. Track performance to appropriate local and central KPIs.
* Evaluating and improving marketing campaigns, reviewing solutions which fit within set budgets.
* Brand guardianship – provide final sign off for all branded content and merchandise being used across all agencies.
* Provide strategic and tactical oversight on always-on and direct response pulse activities. Reporting on channel performance and giving recommendations to the business.
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded marketeer, confident across multiple marketing channels with the ability to run targeted campaign activity, analyse effectiveness, implementing email communications, and crafting audience segmentation.
Natural collaborator, with a passion for building strong working relationships and leading the way with all marketing initiatives, passionate about building brand awareness.
To be considered for the role, you will need to have:
* Degree in Marketing (digital or general) or at least 3-4 years’ experience in a marketing role.
* Hands-on experience with website CMS, email marketing and social media management tools.
* Confident and creative copywriter – ability to move content from concept into delivery and work with the team to deliver excellent online and offline experiences.
* Confident in managing and building relationships/partnerships both internally and externally to drive measurable results.
* Experience in customer experience – managing customer journeys through both online and offline mediums.
* Competent at managing budgets, managing performance and ROI reporting.
