Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,500 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.
Here at Manton Wood, we have a team of around 1,700 colleagues. We produce sandwiches and wraps for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi, and Lidl.
Our Manton Wood site has a gym, restaurant with hot food, and a staff shop available to all our colleagues.
What You'll Be Doing
We are recruiting for a PMO Manager at our Manton Wood site.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Develop a project management standard
2. Create a training program for all project managers, increasing the capability of project delivery across Greencore operations
3. Create a governance process that ensures projects are delivered on time to the expected outcome or for issues to be escalated for resolution quickly
4. Develop an 'after project review', ensuring all projects are reviewed for delivery on time and to the expected outcome
5. Manage the portfolio of projects for the senior operations team
What We're Looking For
As PMO Manager, you will have demonstrable experience of developing influential relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and partners at senior management level.
You will also ideally have:
1. Evidence of performing highly complex work activities covering engineering, technical, financial, health, safety, and quality aspects
2. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences
3. Demonstrable experience of working with a robust project and programme methodology
4. Experience of project management with supporting knowledge of project techniques, with a recognised project delivery method
5. Familiarity and experience with the following technologies: data centre hosting, managed infrastructure services, ERP implementation, and BI implementation
