Company Description
Southcroft Lodge is an expanding not-for-profit Social Care organization that provides high-quality accommodation and support for Service Users who experience Serious Mental Illnesses. We provide hotel-style accommodation for patients discharged from hospital, support for those in Crisis in the Community, long-term supported-living community placements, and step-down from the hospital.
Our aim is to provide a therapeutic, structured environment for Clients to continue their recovery in the community, empowering the individuals we work with to realize their potential.
Position
On-Call Night Manager
We are looking to appoint two motivated and enthusiastic, qualified and experienced professionals to join our team as On-Call Night Managers.
The Rota structure is - 4 shifts on; 4 days off. 22:00 – 09:30.
We now have 28 homes and counting, across South-West London, working with Local Authorities and Mental Health Trusts to place vulnerable adults within one of our 4 Pathways:
1. Supported Living Services
2. Community Services

3. we put our Service Users at the heart of decision-making, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective, and efficient.
The main role of the On-Call Night Manager is to:
1. Manage and oversee night-to-night activities, accommodation, and care within the schemes, ensuring that out-of-hours service delivery is within the framework of Southcroft Lodge’s core values, and in line with Policies and Procedures to provide safe, efficient, effective, and caring services for all our Service Users.
2. Provide Management and guidance for all in-house teams out of hours, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
3. Ensure there is continuity of care from day to night shifts with no reduction in quality of care and support for Service users and staff.
Key responsibilities are: (Amongst others) Primarily to manage, provide support and managerially oversee all:
1. Clinical incidents
2. Safeguarding concerns
3. Emergency Maintenance jobs
4. Business continuity issues
5. IT/printer issues
6. Provide additional cover on shifts as response to Risk/sickness/incidents
7. Acceptance of Emergency placements and ASB (Merton)
Requirements
The successful candidate will:
* Be efficient, dependable, and disciplined.
* Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop superior working relationships.
* Not participate in any negative aspects against the organization.
* Have great organizational and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to multitask.
* Be adept at collaborating with different teams within the organization.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Education and Qualifications
1. Must be NVQ Level 4 and above qualified
2. Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or similar role
3. Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
4. Cleared DBS Check
5. Work additional hours as required by the business
6. Commitment and loyalty to the organization’s mission, aims & objectives
7. Ambition and drive to help the organization develop
8. Must be a car driver, with own vehicle to get to schemes
