A Vacancy at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a newly created role to support the Bereavement and Perinatal Mental Health midwifery teams. The post holder will work as a member of the maternity team providing administrative provision to the Bereavement and Perinatal Mental Health (PNMH) Midwives to assist in ensuring families are provided with seamless support following bereavement during the perinatal period.
Working closely with and supporting both families and those working in maternity, the Bereavement and PNMH Support Administrator will contribute to the teams’ administrative support and the reporting requirements following bereavement in maternity.

Interviews will take place the week commencing the 17th March 2025.
The succesful candidate will work across 2 teams, providing additional administrative support in receiving referrals, making appointments and providing a point of contact for those requiring support.
There will be a requirement to supportmidwives, student’ midwives,support staff andother health care professionalsinissues relating tobereavementand PNMHcare.Thepost holder willhave the opportunity togainacomprehensive range of knowledge andsupportutilisingbest practice, contributing totheimprovementsofcarethe maternity services at YSFTH.
The post holder maybe requiredto be deployed outside of their normal work setting, depending on service need. The post holder will work within the framework ofYork and Scarborough NHS Teaching HospitalsFoundationTrustGuidelines and Protocols.
