Job Title: Credit Reference Agency - Analyst (CRA)
Contract Type: Permanent, Fulltime
Location: Bradford, Petersfield, Chatham

The Role:
You and Your Team:
The Credit Reference Agencies (CRA) team is responsible for shaping and influencing the management, governance, and utilisation of bureau data within each function of the bank.
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager - CRA, the CRA Analyst is a critical role in the continued growth of the Bank.
As a CRA Analyst, some of the key responsibilities are:
1. Relationship management with the three main UK Credit Reference Agencies (TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian) across all areas of Vanquis Bank.
2. Managing monthly service reviews with all three CRAs to ensure Vanquis is kept up to date on the latest developments in new data sources and software, to retain a competitive advantage.
3. To manage costs with each of the CRAs at a business unit level to ensure invoicing is correct and influence commercial agreements across the wider Group.
4. Keep abreast of the relevant rules and regulations to ensure all scorecards, strategies, and services within Vanquis Bank are compliant, specifically the Principles of Reciprocity, the Principles for the Reporting of Arrears, Arrangements and Defaults, and GDPR.
5. Educate users of CRA data and services within the Group on the above rules and regulations.
6. Undertake regular audits of the outgoing monthly CAIS, SHARE and INSIGHT submission files to ensure reporting is accurate and in line with CRA guidance.
What We're Looking For:
1. Relevant experience at a CRA or in personal/retail financial services.
2. Extensive knowledge of Credit Reference Agency services, data, scores and characteristics.
3. Extensive knowledge of Credit Decisioning Systems, e.g. FICO OM, Triad, Blaze Advisor, Experian Power Curve.
4. Extensive knowledge of relevant financial services legislation and regulation.
5. Database extraction and reporting experience.
6. Competent in all standard Microsoft Office applications.
