Experienced Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) required for Aerospace business in Cambridge. Provide safe and prompt ATC services to aircraft under Instrument & Visual flights rules.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing safe Air Traffic Services in accordance with CAP493, CAP774, CAP413 and MATS Part 2.
* Ensuring equipment is operated in accordance with approved procedures.
* Instigating fault reporting procedures.
* Taking a proactive approach to hazard identification and making recommendations for operational ATS safety improvement.
* Reporting occurrences in the credible expectation of a Just Culture investigation.
* Monitoring, recording and reporting ATC equipment serviceability status.
* Identifying failures, abnormal occurrences, or safety hazards.
To apply, you will need:
* Validated ATCO Class G Airspace experience.
* Experience as an OJTI and/or unit training officer.
* UK CAA Air Traffic Controller's license with ADI, APP or APS rating.
* Current UK CAA Medical Certificate.
* ATCO Level 6 English language proficiency.
* Met Observers Qualification (desirable).
* OJTI, UCA Endorsement (desirable).
* Verifier/Evaluator Qualification (desirable).
* Assessor / Evaluator / Verifier qualification (desirable).
