Our Client is a well run blue chip contractor whom are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of their large social housing division.
Key areas of responsibility are:
* Business Development
* Tender and Proposal Management
* Relationship Management
Business Development
* Manage existing relationships and growing new relationships to achieve growth in line with organisational plans in relation to tenders, frameworks in the social housing sector.
* Lead the business development function to meet set targets in relation to growth and new business.
* Build strong relationships with existing and new local authorities clients in existing and new geographical area.
* To identify new business opportunities via tenders, manage the development and submission of bids to housing associations and local authorities, adhering to the company tendering policy.
* Working with local authority and housing associations across all areas of operation, developing strong organisational relationships, positioning our client as the provider of choice in the areas we operate.
* To project manager the mobilisation and implementation of new business
* To lead on Social Value offer via business development plans, tending policy and bid submissions.
* To participate and contribute to all management meetings.
