Aqua-Tech Recruitment are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician with a strong background in the water or other industrial sectors. This role will involve a split between workshop-based work and on-site installation at water treatment facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and fault-finding to ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in both workshop and on-site environments. Work on water treatment sites and other industrial locations, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and industry standards. Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and specifications. Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical systems and components. Ensure compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and other relevant standards. Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements. Key Requirements: Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671). Proven experience in industrial electrical installations, preferably in the water industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Full UK driving licence (essential). ECS / CSCS Card (desirable). Confined Space Training (desirable). CompEx certification (advantageous but not essential).
