This is a full-time, permanent position working 6:00am - 6:30pm (3 days on, 3 days off).

Working as part of a team, the Supervisor will perform an integral role within the CPM Department, assuming responsibility for the delivery of the production plan through effective management of people, product, and process, and will do so in line with company, customer, and legislative requirements.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring all production line team members work safely, efficiently, uphold food safety, and maintain product quality.
* The Supervisor will become a Subject Matter Expert on all equipment and processes within their area of control (subject to appropriate training).
* Responsibility for ensuring only suitably trained staff complete work tasks.
* Developing a high-performing team of Senior Operations through ongoing training and coaching, supporting their role execution.
* Supporting the Shift Manager in deploying their duties.
* Ensuring all actions to eliminate or mitigate risks are strictly managed and adhered to, managing safety and accountability for team safety.
* Ensuring Operational Compliance from a Performance, Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety perspective.
* Adhering to company standards following the S (Safety) Q (Quality) P (People) D (Delivery) C (Cost) model by monitoring and controlling standards through effective KPI management.
* Using data analysis and lean tools and methodologies to assist the Shift Manager and foster a culture of Continuous Improvement, actively seeking to reduce waste and costs. Activities may include 6S, SIC, TPM, TQM, JIT, and SMED.
* Promoting a culture of Operational excellence supporting company policies and lean initiatives, actively participating in their formation and implementation.
* Constructively challenging standards related to operational performance, food safety, quality, and health and safety.
* Escalating problems promptly through appropriate channels, offering solutions where appropriate.
* Collaborating with relevant departments to find solutions to problems.
* Maintaining and developing a culture of continuous improvement through project execution.
* Contributing to the writing of line-based SOPs with accurate information to ensure procedures are correct.
* Generating ideas for performance improvements from direct reports and implementing action plans.
* Upholding and promoting company values including Teamwork, Responsibility, Ambition, and Passion for Food both internally and externally.
* Ensuring the company return-to-work procedures are followed at all times.
* Ensuring line team members wear PPE correctly and in line with training.
* Deputising during the absence of the Production Shift Manager.
