Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the Finance Team of 4 and preparing Management & Financial Accounts for the group on Sage 200.
A summary of the duties includes:
1. Responsible for producing the group management accounts & detailed income generation
2. Maintaining the accounts systems on Sage 200
3. Preparations of quarterly VAT returns
4. Preparation of the accounts for the external auditors
5. Overseeing the bank accounts
6. Processing monthly payroll
7. Assisting non-finance colleagues with purchase orders and stocktakes
What you'll need to succeed
1. Fully Qualified Accountant - or Finalist
2. Proven experience of preparing Management & Financial Accounts - good VAT knowledge
3. Charity background is a bonus, but they very much welcome applicants who are interested and passionate about working in the Charity Sector and want to support their local community.
4. Team Leadership/Management experience
5. Experience of using Sage software systems - preferable Sage 200 & strong excel skills
6. Have access to your own transport
