We are seeking to engage with an Electrically-biased Field Operations Manager to join a leading provider of specialist ventilation solutions.\n\nThis role is crucial in ensuring a high standard of service delivery, leading a team of field-based engineers across the North (M6 Corridor), and providing technical and operational support to maintain efficiency and quality.\n\nThis role requires a balance of hands-on Electrical expertise and people management, ensuring engineers are working safely, productively, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage a team of field-based engineers, ensuring adherence to safety, productivity, and quality standards.\n\nCarry out site visits across the UK to coach and audit completed work, ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations.\n\nProvide electrical support and technical guidance to engineers and internal stakeholders.\n\nDevelop and maintain a high-performing team, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to carry out their roles effectively.\n\nOversee scheduling, resource allocation, and workload management to maximise operational efficiency.\n\nEnsure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations, implementing best practices to maintain a safe working environment.\n\nAct as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service delivery and handling any escalations effectively.\n\nCollaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement, enhancing processes and service quality.\n\nSupport stock control and asset management to ensure engineers have the necessary tools and equipment to complete their work.\n\nThe successful candidate will also take a lead role in mentoring and developing engineers, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with health and safety regulations.\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nElectrically Qualified Supervisor (QS) with 2391/ 2392 certifications or equivalent.\n\nPrevious experience managing a field-based Electrical engineering team.\n\nHands-on electrical experience within a Commercial or Domestic environments as this will be leading technical teams.\n\nStrong knowledge of health and safety regulations and electrical safe systems of work.\n\nAbility to coach and mentor engineers, driving high standards of performance and development.\n\nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.\n\nIT proficiency, with experience using software for scheduling, reporting, and documentation.\n\nFull UK Driving licence & willingness to travel across the UK regularly.\n\nDesirable:\n\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 5357 Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification).\n\nIOSH Managing Safely Qualification.\n\nFirst Aid in the Workplace.\n\nExperience in ventilation systems or related industries.\n\nSummary\n\nPosition: Field Operations Manager (North)\n\nLocation: Field-based, covering the North (Midlands to Manchester)\n\nDuration: Permanent\n\nSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Phone, Laptop etc\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrically biased Field Operations Manager to take ownership of a team, drive operational excellence, and deliver outstanding customer service.\n\nReady to make an impact?
