About the Customer Services Advisor job
As Customer Services Advisor, you will be part of a small and friendly customer services team. You will assist with customer orders, queries and complaints by both phone and email and communicate with the Sales Managers to deliver a great customer service experience.
Key tasks
1. Process new orders and amendments, providing customers with stock availability, lead times, and delivery dates.
2. Maintain and update customer databases, including contact details and specific delivery requirements.
3. Assist Sales Managers with updating trade agreement prices and ensuring accurate records.
4. Coordinate with transport companies, the Transport Manager, and warehouse team to schedule collections, deliveries, and order dispatches.
About You
1. Good administration and customer services experience, ideally within a food manufacturing or similar FMCG business. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organization skills.
2. Confident communication skills (both verbal and written) to establish productive relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
3. IT literate including Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

The Customer Services Advisor job (ref:8794) is based in Colchester and is paying £24,500 - £25,000 according to your experience. This is a hybrid role offering one day from home post probation period.
The site is in Colchester, Essex and is commutable from Chelmsford, Ipswich, Halstead, Clacton-On-Sea.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch.
