Responsibilities:
* Recruit and Assess Foster Carers: I dentify potential foster carers, conduct assessments, and ensure they meet the necessary criteria.
* Provide Support and Supervision : Offer ongoing support and supervision to foster carers, addressing any issues and providing guidance.
* Develop Care Plans : Create and implement individualized care plans for foster children, focusing on their well-being, stability, and development.
* Coordinate Practical and Emotional Support : Ensure foster carers receive the necessary practical and emotional support to care for foster children effectively.
* Monitor Standards of Care : Regularly check on the standards of care provided by foster carers to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Facilitate Training and Development : Identify and support the learning and development needs of foster carers through training programs and resources.
* Liaise with Other Professionals : Work closely with other social workers, legal services, and relevant agencies to ensure the best outcomes for foster children.
* Handle Child Protection Issues : Address any child protection concerns that arise, ensuring the safety and well-being of foster children.
* Maintain Records and Documentation : Keep detailed records of interactions, assessments, and care plans for foster children and carers.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
