Purchase & Materials Controller Admin assistant
We have a new opportunity for a Purchase & Materials Controller/ERP Systems admin assistant
Salary £26,000
Monday - Friday 8-4.30pm with a 30-minute lunch (we are flexible with this)
This initial support role will progress in time as your experience develops to become a key member of the team taking on additional duties and responsibilities. You Will be working alongside the Production Manager and other members of the production teams as you will need to liaise with these to fulfil certain duties.
Key tasks and responsibilities
* Working as part of the production team
* Dealing with suppliers obtaining quotations
* Ensuring Goods in procedures are followed
* Purchase Order processing in a timely manner
* Assist in the Stock Control of Steel Component parts
* Maintenance of ERP processing
* Other general ad hoc stock replenishment
* Production Works Order Processing in a timely Manner
* Be able to liaise with other departments to deal with enquires efficiently and successfully
Compliance responsibilities
* Management of all processes in accordance with issued procedures
* Ensure compliance of any activities to General Data Protection Regulation so that those activities are performed in accordance with approved internal policies and procedures including but not limiting to Data Protection Policy
Key skills / abilities
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience with ERP Systems (M3 Preferred)
* Good communication and writing skills
* Well-organised
* Health and safety conscious
* Can work on own initiative
