Your new Role:
As Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for the daily cleaning of hanger floors, toilets and welfare facilities, cleaning spills and emergency cleans as well as external cleaning and bin emptying. Other responsibilities include waste management, weeding and pruning external areas, checking stock levels, ordering stocks, and dealing with deliveries.
You will be trained in wing walking and hangar door operations to assist Flightline. The Maintenance Assistant will be the first point of contact for tenants, escorting contractors where required and supporting the wider facilities team to ensure smooth running of the FBO.
About You:
The successful candidate will require basic DIY skills and an in-depth understanding of maintenance procedures and problem-solving skills for addressing safety and maintenance concerns. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for giving instructions to contractors.
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate strong customer service skills, organization, multi-tasking, and scheduling skills.
You will have a checkable five-year employment history and a full and clean driving licence.
