Plas Pencelli is a friendly residential outdoor centre working with school groups taking part in outdoor activities. The Cook runs the kitchen and dining room with the support of other catering staff. The Cook oversees food hygiene in line with current Food Standards Agency guidelines. Duties include preparing quality meals for young people and adults, inputting on menus and planning food orders. The role also involves supervising other members of the catering team, and ensuring other general duties are completed including receiving deliveries, managing the storage of foodstuffs, serving meals, clearing away, dishwashing and cleaning all floors and surfaces.
There is a requirement for occasional weekend work on a rota basis. Various casual positions also available. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check. For more details please contact office@plaspencelli.co.uk
