Position: Operations Engineering Manager
The successful Engineering Manager will ensure a consistent/detailed approach using Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving Tools such as 8D or 5 Whys.
Responsibilities include:
* Reduce internal and external NCRs YoY by 20%
* Increase efficiencies YoY by 20%
* Reduce warranty complaints YoY by 20%
* Reduce Scrap YoY by 20%
* Complete routings according to service level agreements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with:
* A track record of completing projects on time and quality in a complex environment
* A proactive approach, taking ownership for outcomes beyond immediate disciplinary control
* A structured, organised approach to work, providing a consistent and detailed approach to problem solving
* Five years' experience working in a similar manufacturing environment, with a good understanding of Quality and Process management tools and methodologies, including 5S/6S, flowcharts, VSM, Kaizen, Pareto, QCPC, 8D, Cause & Effect, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys
