The Design Technician will be an experienced technician who has the potential to develop into an excellent member of the academic support team.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, have the ability to work well in a busy environment, and be able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff at all levels.
Why Choose Us
Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation, located in Canterbury, just one hour from the centre of London by train. The Senior School (11 – 18 years) has some 600 boys and girls, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day. This is a fabulous opportunity to work for a happy, caring, and successful school where pupils feel supported and encouraged to aim for high standards of achievement and conduct.
The school was graded as excellent in all categories in the recent inspection conducted by ISI in October 2022, the Independent Schools Inspectorate that conducts inspections on behalf of the Secretary of State for Education.
The Position
The position is full-time (40 hours per week including breaks), term time plus one week (36 weeks per academic year, September to August).
We offer private healthcare with Benenden, reduced gym membership, free on-site parking, free lunch during term time, cycle to work scheme, home and tech scheme, subsidised fitness classes.
Closing Date: 31st January 2025, although if a pool of suitable candidates becomes available before that date, the College reserves the right to interview and appoint without further notice.
