Reporting into the Head of Product, we’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Product Owner to join our Digital Auctions Sales and Payments team and help us transform the digital auctions experience for our customers. As a Product Owner you’ll be responsible for the UK Buyer App, which enables our dealer community to search for stock, bid, buy and manage their purchases anywhere, at any time. The Buyer App has grown significantly in popularity in the past few years and we’re looking for somebody to further define and deliver on the strategy for the app. You’ll be collaborating closely with our Buyer Relations and Customer Experience teams, alongside a range of technology stakeholders including designers and developers to execute against our Digital Auctions strategy. You’ll be involved in the full end-to-end of the product engineering process, from identifying and prioritising the most valuable opportunities for the product to working with a squad to incrementally build features, measure their impact, and iterate based upon feedback, ensuring that we maximise the value delivered to both our customers and the business. We’ll expect that you bring an innovative and creative mindset, pushing the boundaries of what is possible without compromising on quality, stability and resilience. Key Responsibilities Defining the strategy and roadmap for the Buyer App Driving planning in like with OKRs and coordinating across dependent products and operations teams Delivering measurable improvements to the Buyer App which have a material impact against our business goals Identifying and incubating opportunities to drive innovation into the product Working with the Buyer App squad day-to-day to break down product initiatives into small, hypothesis-driven increments of value Providing visibility to business stakeholders and customers of the Buyer App roadmap and priorities, and managing expectations Ensuring that customer and stakeholder feedback on the Buyer App is heard and fed into the decision-making process Working with the Decision Intelligence and Research teams to ensure that we can measure the performance of the Buyer App and make data-informed decisions Working with the wider team to ensure that the Buyer App roadmap is aligned with other product areas Key Skills Proven track record of shipping features in a fast-paced, agile environment and quantifying the impact against business objectives Experience guiding a multi-disciplined squad on a day-to-day basis to define and deliver incremental improvements to a digital product, fostering an inclusive and collaborate team dynamic Making decisions informed by data, with the customer and business needs at the heart of everything you do Working effectively with a diverse range of people from different areas of the business, and can provide constructive challenge to bring the best out of the people you work with Ability to engage, persuade and inspire a range of audiences with your storytelling and communication skills Being curious, hungry to learn, eager to consider differing perspectives, and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others Being keen to get involved in more than just the Buyer App, working with the wider team and communities of practice to improve the way we work and our culture Thriving in a constantly changing workplace and interpret change as an opportunity Trust, honesty and open collaboration are integral to the way you work Happy with hybrid working, but willing to travel to the London office and auction sites on an ad-hoc basis to meet our team and customers Our policy is to employ the best qualified people and provide equal opportunity for the advancement of employees including promotion and training and not to discriminate against any person because of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, belief or disability.
