Individual Needs Assistant
A popular one-form entry school in Lewes, with a capacity for 210 children, is seeking a caring and dedicated Individual Needs Assistant (INA)to join the team.
Location: Lewes, East Sussex
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Pay: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Role
* Work Environment: Support a vibrant, friendly team in a school that values staff well-being and professional growth.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, both in the classroom and during interventions.
o Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement and adapt learning plans.
o Foster the pupil’s confidence, independence, and social development.
o Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
What We Are Looking For:
* Skills & Experience:
o Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for supporting children with SEND.
o Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – training can be provided.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
