At Ryman we have an incredible opportunity to join our vibrant Marketing Team as Marketing Manager!
WHAT WILL THIS ROLE INVOLVE?
End to end management for developing and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive footfall, increase sales, build and enhance brand awareness and visibility and drive business growth. Support the Ryman business and brand with overall responsibility of all Marketing Campaigns and Event Campaign Execution across all channels, including campaign and creative briefings and post campaign reporting and analysis.
Key tasks include managing advertising campaigns (online and offline), overseeing promotions, analysing customer data and trends, coordinating social media content, and collaborating with other departments like merchandising and operations. The Marketing Manager will also monitor competitors and market conditions, ensuring the business stays competitive and relevant. The role plays a crucial role in maintaining the brand's image and engaging with our target audience effectively.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
1. Support the Head of Marketing in the implementation of the marketing strategy.
2. Develop and drive customer focused campaigns that are aligned across all areas of the business.
3. Lead the communication of all campaign plans and briefs to the team and wider business.
4. Own and manage the strategy and brand identity of marketing campaigns and develop customer and content calendars for each of these campaigns and to inform future campaigns and planning.
5. Be instrumental in establishing cross functional collaboration of stakeholders to develop an effective critical path/project plan to land all activity on brand, time and in budget.
6. Create briefs for all campaigns and communicate to the wider team ensuring everyone understands the RACI applied to the campaign.
7. Manage actions from campaign meetings, own and develop campaign plans, RACIs and review documents.
8. Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships to drive plans and ensure clear communication of brand and campaign projects.
9. Identify and champion opportunities to enhance customer experience along the customer journey within the Ryman App, in-store and online.
10. Conduct competitor research including in store, online, ATL and social to help develop short and long term marketing strategy.
11. Work with a cross-functional team to summarise all activity with commercial results and report against agreed KPIs to understand performance of activity and build on future planning.
12. Champion, plan and execute data led campaigns both instore and online inline with marketing calendar activity and promotions.
13. Plan, manage and execute campaign and sponsorship events.
14. Manage Charity Partnerships including Campaign proposition and execution and event plan.
15. Manage the programme of PR activity, through the PR agency, including brand activations, news hijacking opportunities, local and regional media competitions.
16. Manage and support both Digital and Social Media marketing inline with the social strategy.
17. Budget Management of campaigns, projects and initiatives.
18. Lead, support and develop Marketing Coordinator including KPI setting and Personal Development Plans.
19. Support with the briefing and creation of Photography/Content.
20. Work closely with the Retail Marketing Manager to manage the execution, strategy and ideas of large-scale campaigns such as Back to School and Christmas ensuring all channels are totally aligned and hitting the brand pillars.
21. Manage other ad hoc marketing projects as and when required.

10. Excellent prioritisation skills, the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
11. A car/UK driving licence is essential - travel to other sites will be required on an ad-hoc basis.
12. Degree or relevant marketing professional qualification (CIM or equivalent) desirable.
