The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons working closely with children with Autism. Job Description: Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Early Years Teacher to join our team in a school based in Sutton Coldfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an outstanding education to our early years children in a class holding a number of students who have a diagnosis of autism. Responsibilities: Plan, deliver and assess lessons in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Provide differentiated teaching and learning to support the needs of children with autism. Support children in developing their communication, social, emotional and behavioural skills. Use a range of specialist strategies and resources to support children with autism, such as visual aids, social stories and sensory activities. Work collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Maintain accurate records and progress reports to inform ongoing planning and assessment. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching children with special educational needs, particularly autism. Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and how to effectively differentiate teaching and learning to support children with autism. Ability to use a range of specialist strategies and resources to support children with autism. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals. Highly organized with excellent record-keeping and report-writing skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a positive, flexible and proactive attitude. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
